Towards the end of the semester, the students of hosting major at College of Film not only carefully prepared for their exams, but also enthusiastically participated in the last PT (personal trainer) expert workshop of the semester.
On the morning of 16 December, the expert workshop of the College of Film of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) was held in Room 108, Red Building, Huashan Road Campus as scheduled. Mr Cao Kefan, the resident artist of STA, asked the students to talk about their understanding of Shanghai from the dimensions of politics, economy, society, culture, history and people's livelihood, so as to look at everyone's ability of observation, perception and critical thinking.
Also on the morning of 16 December, Mr Jin Wei, the famous host of Dragon TV and the resident artist of STA, invited the students of hosting major at the College of Film to the Yu Garden, a national-level cultural venue for an expert workshop on exploring the cultural history of Shanghai. Jin Wei specially invited You Ruijun, deputy party secretary of Yu Garden and director of the Yu Garden Management Office give a detailed introduction of historical materials for the students.
On the afternoon of 18 December, Ms He Jie, the resident artist of STA, held a workshop for the students of hosting major at the College of Film in the Foxi Building of STA’s Huashan Road Campus. Ms He Jie took the students to participate in the “New Journey in the Next 100 Years” Academic Seminar on Exploring the Training Mode of Broadcasting and Hosting Talents, and engaged the students in a discussion entitled "Practice and Integration" at the parallel session on "Training of Professional Hosting Talents in the New Era of Media".
