On 16 October 2021, our university held the promotion meeting for major art theory projects (under research) of the National Social Science Fund of China in the conference room of Foxi Building. Leaders, experts and officials from the China Institute of Arts Science and Technology, the Art Division of Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, and the National Arts Science Planning and Project Management Centre, as well as Xie Wei, Party Secretary of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA), Huang Changyong, Deputy Party Secretary and President of STA, Yang Yang, Vice President of STA, and Zhi Yunbo, Deputy Director of the Research Office of STA, attended the meeting. The opening session of the promotion meeting was presided over by Vice President Yang Yang.
Five well-known experts and professors from Shanghai Theatre Academy, National and Folk Literature and Art Development Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Shanghai Normal University, Wenzhou University and Fudan University were invited to the meeting to serve as the review experts. Six chief experts of major projects under research in our university, including Professor Lu Jun, Professor Sun Huizhu, Professor Gong Baorong, Professor Zhang Fuhai, Professor Li Zhenlin and Professor Li Wei attended the meeting and reported the progress of their respective projects.
Xie Wei, Party Secretary of STA, delivered a speech at the opening session of the promotion meeting, and Huang Changyong, President of STA, made the concluding speech.
