At the beginning of the summer vacation, the news of STA students winning prizes came out from foreign country. At the 18th Seoul International Dance Competition, which closed a few days ago, dancers from the College of Dance of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) achieved great results. All five dance works of nine students of BA Choreography 2019 qualified for the finals, and eventually won one gold prize, one silver prize and two special prizes.

The Seoul International Dance Competition, held by UNESCO, is one of the most prestigious dance competitions in the world that attracts the attention of the dance circles all over the world. The competition aims to identify promising young dance artists, provide them with international career development opportunities, and promote in-depth communication between dancers from different countries, so that they can understand each other and cooperate with each other to flourish the art of dance worldwide.
