On 9 July, the 2021 Moral Education Research Symposium of Shanghai Theatre Academy was held in the conference on the 2nd floor of the Foxi Building. Hu Min, deputy party secretary of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA), Chen Yun, director of the Organization Department and director of the Faculty Affairs Department, Chen Min, dean of the College of Marxism, and leaders of various moral education projects in the past three years attended the symposium. The symposium was presided over by Fang Jun, deputy director of the Publicity Department of STA’s party committee.
This symposium was one of the research projects of STA’s party history study and education series , aiming to carry out in-depth study of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech at the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, made a comprehensive summary of STA’s experiences in moral education in recent years, further enhance the positive role played by moral education research in the implementation of the fundamental task of establishing moral ethics and cultivating people and structure the overall pattern of ideological and political education, and improve the ability and level of ideological and political work in STA.
The symposium focused on the following three topics: the integration of party history study and education into curriculum-based teaching; the combination of major-specific teaching and curriculum-based ideological and political education; the exploration of "theatre + ideological and political education". Hu Min, deputy party secretary of STA, made the concluding remarks. The notice and guidelines of the Shanghai Theatre Academy on moral education research projects in 2021 was also issued at the symposium.
