1 July 2021 marks the centenary of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
This day is also exactly the 100th day of the "Read 100 Years’ History in 100 Days” campaign launched by the College of Creative Studies on 24 March this year with the Party Building, Ideological and Political Education and Cultural Creation Corner on the Changlin Road campus as the base.
On such a day, the most important thing to read is, of course, the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
The teachers and students of the College of Creative Studies watched the live broadcast of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC in the Circular Conference Room of Changlin Road campus in the morning. At noon, they gathered at the Party Building, Ideological and Political Education and Cultural Creation Corner to read certain parts of the speech. Ten teachers and students attended the recitation.
"Read 100 Years’ History in 100 Days”" is a Party history study program for teachers and students initiated by the Party branch of the College of Creative Studies. A total of 453 students and teachers from the College of Creative Studies participated in the first phase of the program which was a 100-day reading campaign, and more than 200 people wrote down their feelings and thoughts. On the 100th day of the reading campaign, it was of special significance to read the speech given by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.
