In order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and study the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, on 1 July 1 2021, the Playwriting Research Center of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) organized teachers and students to visit the Nanhu Revolution Memorial Hall in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province.
In the morning, Professor Wen Bangwei, vice president of the Jiaxing New Fourth Army History Research Association and expert on Party history studies, gave a lecture to the group from STA. In the afternoon, led by Professor Lu Jun, director of the Playwriting Research Center, teachers and students from STA, including Professor Wei Dongxiao, director of the Creation Center and Professor Xu Yu, deputy dean of the Department of Dramatic Literature Department, visited the Nanhu Revolution Memorial Hall.
At the end of the activity, Professor Lun Jun asked everyone to earnestly study the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech, draw strength from the visit to the Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Hall, and make their own contributions to the cause of Chinese theatre by way of theatrical creation and research that they are good at.
