Shanghai Theatre Academy’s Playwriting Research Center successfully holds special conference on "Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China & Creation and Research of Red-Topic Plays"

To celebrate the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, on the morning of 30 June 2021, the Playwriting Research Centre of Shanghai Theatre Academy organized a special conference on the “Celebration of the 100^th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China & Creation and Research of Red-Topic Plays” in the conference room on the second floor of the Fuxi Building.

The conference was chaired by Professor Lu Jun, Director of the Playwriting Research Center. The graduate students who are Party members exchanged ideas on the topic of "What Did I Do for the 100^th Anniversary of the Founding of the CPC?" Professors Yao Kou gen, Zhao Weiying and Xu Wei and Associate Professor Wei Dongxiao were invited to attend the conference.

At the end of the conference, the Professor Lu talked from his experience of organizing and participating in the creation of several red-topic plays this year, and once again encouraged students to study hard, think diligently and constantly improve their ideological power and creativity, and light up life with the light of drama, back feed the Party and the country with their expertise in theatre, and serve and give back to the society.
