From 12 to 14 June 2021, the Film Market of the 24th Shanghai International Film Festival was held in the Shanghai Exhibition Center. TheShanghai Theatre Academy (STA) College of Film was invited to participate in the "Film Talents Training Pavilion" of the film market with an exhibition of excellent works of students and related spin-off products. On the morning of 12 June, Zhou Huilin, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee of and Director-General of the Publicity Department, visited the film market for inspection. In the "Film TalentsTraining Pavilion", Director-GeneralZhou Huilin, accompanied by Li Zhenlin, Dean of t he STA College of Film, inspected STA’s exhibition stand where he learnt the history of STA’s film and television education in detail, observed the collection of excellent works of STAZ studentsand gave his full acknowledgement toSTA’s achievements in film and television education.
This year's film market is for threedays, covering a variety of fields in film and television such as investment and financing, production, post production, special effects, visual effect, distribution, marketing, education, legal affairs and games etc. The presence of theSTA College of Filmat the Film Market of the 24thShanghai International Film Festival has fully demonstrated the STA’s achievements in film and television education over the years, strengthened the film talents related cooperation and communication with all sectors of the industry, and shown the ever growing "STA Corps" on film and televisionthrough the exchange and mutual learning.
