The 3rd Shanghai Theatre Academy Congress of China Democratic League was held on 7 June 2021. Yang Demei, Full-time Vice Chairwoman of the China Democratic League Shanghai Municipal Committee, and Xie Wei, Secretary of the CPC Committee of the Shanghai Theatre Academy Committee, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Hu Min, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, Wang Haojun, Director of the Organization Department of the China Democratic League Shanghai Municipal Committee, Zhang Jie, Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Committee of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, and 39 the China Democratic League members in the Shanghai Theatre Academy attended the meeting.
On behalf of the China Democratic League Shanghai Municipal Committee, Yang Demei extended the congratulations on the opening of the congress. On behalf of the China Democratic League Shanghai Municipal Committee, she expressed her high respect and heartfelt thanks to the leading group and all members of the League of the Shanghai Theatre Academy Committee of the China Democratic League. At the same time, she also put forward specific requirements for the new committee to be selected.
Xie Wei, on behalf of the CPC Committee of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, extended warm congratulations on the opening of the congress and expressed warm welcome and sincere thanks to the leaders of the China Democratic League Shanghai Municipal Committee who came to the congress to provide guidance. He also put forward expectations for the work of the new China Democratic League Shanghai Theatre Academy Committee to be elected.
The congress listened to and discussed the work report made by Li Zhenlin on behalf of the 2nd Shanghai Theatre Academy Committee of the China Democratic League, and passed the resolution of the 3rd Shanghai Theatre Academy Congress of the China Democratic League.
The 3rd Shanghai Theatre Academy Committee of the China Democratic League was elected at the meeting. Nine people, including Wan Chuanfa, Ji Min, Li Zhenlin, Song Song, Zhang Xiao’ou, Wu Chaohui, Zheng Li, Hu Ge and Yin Wuwei, were elected as members of the new committee. At the same time, Wan Chuanfa and Zhang Xiao'ou were elected to attend the 16th Shanghai Municipal Congress of the China Democratic League.
At the first meeting of the 3rd Shanghai Theatre Academy Committee of the China Democratic League, Li Zhenlin was elected Chairman of the Committee, Wan Chuanfa and Zhang Xiao'ou were elected Vice Chairmen, and Zheng Li was appointed Secretary General of the Committee.
In the 3rd part of the congress, Jin Xiquan, Branch Head of the Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party in the Chinese Opera School affiliated to Shanghai Theatre Academy delivered a congratulatory speech on behalf of the Shanghai Theatre Academy committees of the various democratic parties.
Wan Chuanfa spoke on behalf of members of the new Committee. Song Song read a letter of salutation to Huang Yiming and Guo Wenhua, two outgoing members of the Committee, thanking them for their contributions to the construction and development of the China Democratic League Shanghai Theatre Academy Committee.
