In order to help graduates access targeted employment opportunities, the Film College of our university took the initiative to connect with the Shanghai Radio, Film and Television Production Industry Association, and organized a special job fair for film and television talents. On the afternoon of 31 May, the "Special Job Fair for Film College of Shanghai Theatre Academy" jointly organized by the Student Affairs Office and the Film College of our university was successfully held in the Foxi Academy on the Changlin Road campus of our university. At the job fair, many film and television companies such as Shanghai Youhug Media, FundamentalFilms andLiebao Cultureetc, which were eager for talents, actively offered job offers to STA students.
It is reported that the purpose of this special job fair was to build an employment platform for students who are willing to devote themselves to the film and television industry as well asthe new media industry. The positions released by the companiespresent at the job fair basically covered the whole industry chain of the film and television industry, which included many kinds of jobs, such as management trainee for creative ideas for film , film and television editing and directing, host, post production, photography, literary editor, project planning and overseas distribution, providing rich and diversified employment opportunities for our students.
At the job fair, graduates from the Film College, Creative Studies College, Dramatic Literature Department and other colleges and departments enthusiastically submitted their resumes, actively communicated with the HR representatives of the hiring companies, and actively looked for their preferred companies and positions.
This special film and television job fairnot only provided a valuable job-seeking opportunity for students of the Film College and the other colleges and departments of STA, but also deepened the understanding of the front-line film and television companies towards the Film College of STA. In the future, the Film College of Shanghai Theatre Academy will continue to deepen the exchange and cooperation with the Shanghai Radio, Film and Television Production Industry Association, andhold such special jobfairs regularly. We sincerely look forward to an even wider participation of companies.
