In this semester, the Department of DramaticLiterature of Shanghai Theatre Academy has made the "One-act PlayWriting" course a pilot of the development of curriculum-based ideological and political education. In the way of semi-assigned topic, 40 students wrote their first revolutionary historical works around the assigned "red theme" and interpreted the "red" spirit in their eyes. In the afternoon of 18 May2021, a demonstration class of the course was held in the New Space Theatre, which was to show an example of curriculum-based ideological and political education for all teachers and students. Six representative one-act plays were selected for presentation on the stage in the form of script reading, which was used as a display of teaching achievements and, at the same time, to pay a tribute to the 100 anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Tang Litu, Vice President of Shanghai Theatre Academy, Zhang Jing, Party Branch Secretary of the Department of Dramatic Literature, Chen Jun, Dean of the Department of DramaticLiterature, and other departmental leaders attended the demonstration class.
