With the upcoming International Labour Day on 1 May 2021, the Party Construction Service Center and the Teacher Development Center (Huashan Road Campus) of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) were officially opened on 28 April.
Xie Wei, Party Secretary of STA, and Huang Changyong, Deputy Party Secretary and President of STA, unveiled the plaques for the Party BuildingService Center and the Teacher Development Center. Zhang Weiling, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President, presided over the plaque unveiling ceremony and the subsequent seminar.
Four young teachers and staff members who were Party members recited some of the important speeches of General-Secretary Xi Jinping as a way of celebratingthe International Labour Day on 1 May and theYouth Day on 4 May at the Party Building Service Center and the Teacher Development Center.
After the opening of theParty Building Service Center and theTeacher Development Center, the first event held at this venuewas the seminar on “Strive for a Century and Embark on a New Journey”. Some representatives of Party members and teachers attended the seminar. Xie Wei, Party Secretary of STA, put forward the requirements for the use of the newly opened Party Building Service Center and the Teacher Development Center.
STA has Party building service centers and teacher service centers (including those under development) at all of its four campuses. The party building service centers and the teacher service centers will carry out the work with the focus on the functions of basic-level party building, teachers' ideological and political education, teachers' teaching ability improvement, teachers' communication and sharing, and services for teachers.
