On afternoon of24 April 2021, the seminar on "Drama and City - Red Drama Performs the Main Melody of the Era" was held, which was jointed sponsored by the Jing'an District People's Government, the Shanghai Radio and Television Station and the Shanghai Theatre Academy, and jointly organized by the Jing'an District Culture and Tourism Bureau and the Shanghai Theatre Academy. This event was the academic discussion meeting after the opening ceremony of the 12th Jing'an Drama Valley in 2021 and the successful premiere of the opening drama "Fu De Li" (the site of the 2nd National Congress of the Communist Party of China). The conference focused on two themes: (1)From "Outpost" to "Fu De Li" - How to bring theyoung people into the red culture; (2) The Shanghai phenomenon of red drama. The conference invited relevant leaders of Shanghai, as well as drama scholars, party history experts and media commentators from different placesin China to hold multi-angle, multi-level and multi-faceted discussions on these two themes in the form of a "round table forum". It attached great importance and paid great attention to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China as a key historical point of time. At the same time, it also discussed the two red dramatic works, i.e. "Outpost" and "Fu De Li", and put forward suggestions and expectations.

Professor Ding Luonan of the Shanghai Theatre Academy made a concluding speech.
