On 29 March 2021, the College of Dance of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) held a special meeting on talent work. The meeting was presided over by Chen Jianian, Dean of the College of Dance. The leadership team, departmental directors and heads of the teaching and research offices of the college attended the meeting.
Chen Jianian, Dean of the College of Dance, Zhang Lin, Vice Dean, Xu Hui, Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch, Zhou Bei, Vice Dean, and Yang Xinhua, Vice Dean, spoke at the meeting.
At the meeting, the departmental directors and the heads of the teaching and research offices discussed and exchanged views on the development plan, methods and initiatives, and the current situation of the college's talent work, and put forward opinions and suggestions for the problems encountered in the actual work.
Talent work is the top priority of the development of the college. This special meeting on talent work was the specific arrangement and measure made by the Party and administrative leadership teams of the college in the beginning year of the "14th Five Year Plan" period. In the future, the talent work of the College of Dance will focus on building a reasonable structure of professional talent team, building a high-level faculty, and laying a solid foundation for the long-term development of the college.
