In accordance with the requirements of the “Notice of the Department of Science, Technology and Education of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on the Implementation of the Supported Projects of Student Team Entrepreneurship in the Partner Colleges and Universities”, the Department of Science, Technology and Education of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism recently announced the list of ten "Supported Projects of Student Team Entrepreneurship in Partner Colleges and Universities". “Corporate”, the creative marketing project of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, was one of them.
"Supported Projects of Student Team Entrepreneurship in Partner Colleges and Universities" has been launched by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to further support the partner colleges and universities to connect with high-quality industrial resources, build a platform for collaborative innovation and education, and facilitate the early discovery and early cultivation of a batch of high caliber young people with the potential of entrepreneurship and innovation for the field of culture and art.
In March 2020, taking advantage of the entrepreneurial competition of Shanghai Theatre Academy, Zhao Pei and Chen Zhaoyuan of MFA Art Administration 2019 came up with the idea of starting a business. Last summer, they went out of the university campus with the "Corporate" project. They entered the Jing'an District Finals of the Shanghai Trials of the 4th "China Wings" Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition, and achieved great success. At the same time, the team was also commissioned for a number of important literary and artistic creation projects and cultural and creative product design projects. In the progress of the “Corporate” project, the team has had the participation and support of more partners.
At present, there are four core members in the "Corporate" team, all of whom are graduate students of the Shanghai Theatre Academy majoring in art administration, stage design and directing for theatre, film and television respectively. They are responsible for the work of project operation, marketing, programming and directing, stage design and derivatives design according to their respective professional expertise.
In the past year, “Corporate” has experienced doubts and difficulties, as well as good surprises and harvests. As they say, "the road to happiness is strewn with setbacks, and where there is a will, there is a way", and as long as you persist in doing it, there will be more opportunities and highlights in the future.
