On 7 January 2021, the 2021 enrollment mobilization meeting of our university was held in the STA Experimental Theater. Xie Wei, Hu Min, Zhou Yin’e, Zhang Weiling, Tang Litu, Yang Yang and Zhang Jiachun, the university leaders, Liu Zhixin, Director of the Admissions Office, heads of all functional offices, and all the teaching and administrative staff of the secondary colleges and departments attended the meeting. Hu Min, Deputy Party Secretary, presided over the meeting.
At the meeting, Hu Min, Deputy Party Secretary, informed the participants of the “Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education on Certain Special Typed Admissions in Ordinary Tertiary Institutions in 2021”. According to the requirements of the notice, the relevant tertiary institutions should comprehensively strengthen the organization and leadership, earnestly fulfill the role of accountable bodies, implement the epidemic prevention and control measures, scientifically formulate the examination work plan, strictly organize and manage the examination, ensure the fairness and justice of the examination, improve the supervision and inspection mechanism, and seriously investigate and deal with the violations.
Liu Zhixin, Director of the Admissions Office, introduced the situation of applicants’ registration and the regulations and procedures for the 2021 admissions, as well as the relevant measures for epidemic prevention and control. The university has made full deployment and arrangement in the aspects of scientifically formulating the examination work plan, actively adopting the online examination method, and strictly controlling the scale of on-site examination.
Zhou Yin’e, Deputy Party Secretary and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, put forward specific requirements and made detailed mobilization with regard to the regulations of surveillance of disciplines for admissions. She hoped that everyone would strictly abide by the regulations of "ten prohibitions", "thirty don’ts" and "eight basic requirements" and strictly prevent favoritism, irregularities and other fraudulent behaviors.
Xie Wei, Party Secretary, delivered a concluding speech. He hoped that all teaching and administrative staff would be fully aware of the completeness, wholeness, complexity and sensitivity of the admissions work, and achieve the four "stresses", i.e. stress on discipline, stress on cooperation, stress on detail and stress on dedication. He was confident that all involved have such qualities, such abilities and such desires to make the admissions work of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) in 2021 a complete success, so as to further promote the greater development of the university.
