On the afternoon of 1 December, witnessed by experts and leaders as well as teacher, students and alumni of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA), the plaque unveiling ceremony of the Lu Wei Film Screenwriting Studio and the Wang Xingjun Directing Studio of the Shanghai Theatre Academy and director Wu Yigong's book donation ceremony were successfully held at STA's Changlin Road Campus.
Xie Wei, party secretary of STA, Tang Litu and Yang Yang, vice presidents of STA, Zhang Jiachun, chief accountant of STA, He Quan, chairman of the Shanghai Luju Culture and Communication Co Ltd, director Wang Xingjun, Li Zhenlin, dean of the STA College of Film, Dong Jian, vice dean of the STA College of Film, and Han Yongsheng, party branch secretary of the STA College of Film, attended the ceremonies. Han Yongsheng and Li Zhenlin presided over the plaque unveiling ceremony and the donation ceremony respectively. Yang Yang delivered a speech at the plaque unveiling ceremony, expressing his congratulations on the establishment of the two studios, as well as thanking the family members of director Wu Yigong for the donation.
At director Wu Yigong's book donation ceremony, director Wu Tiange donated the books on behalf of Mr Wu Yigong and delivered a speech. The collection of books donated by director Wu Yigong is a very precious resource for the Shanghai Theatre Academy. It also makes STA feel the love of director Wu Yigong to the school. It is hoped the students can continue to make new achievements along with the artistic ideas of director Wu Yigong.
