On the afternoon of 1 December, the Appointment Ceremony for PT Program Experts of Shanghai Theatre Academy & 2020 STA College of Film Education Forum was held at the Changlin Road Campus of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA). The event was one of the activities of STA’s 75th anniversary celebrations. Xie Wei, Party Secretary of STA, Tang Litu, Vice President of STA, Yang Yang, Vice President of STA, Zhang Jiachun, Chief Accountant of STA, Han Yongsheng, Party Secretary of the STA College of Film, Li Zhenlin, Dean of the STA College of Film, Wang Chunyun, Deputy Party Secretary of the STA College of Film, and Dong Jian, Vice Dean of the STA College of Film, attended the ceremony.
Dong Jian, Vice Dean of the STA College of Film, presided over the ceremony and introduced all PT program experts and guests of honor. Xie Wei, Party Secretary of STA, presented the certificates of appointment to the PT program experts, namely, Ren Zhonglun, Jiang Haiyang, Cao Kefan, Jin Wei, Chen Rong, Luo Xin, Cheng Lei and He Jie, respectively. Subsequently, Vice Dean Dong Jian introduced the education and teaching situation of the College of Film, and Party Secretary Xie Wei delivered a speech.
At the 2020 STA College of Film Education Forum, all PT program experts shared their own stories in association with STA, and expressed their views on the theme of "first-class higher art education in the era of media convergence". They hoped that the students of STA can lay a good foundation, read more books, keep the original aspiration in mind and embrace the future, and they expressed that they will help STA to cultivate more art talents of high caliber.
