For a long time, the CPC Committee of Shanghai Theatre Academy has attached great importance to the development of ideological and political theory courses in our university, and cared about the education and teaching of ideological and political theory courses in our university. On the afternoon of 12 November 2020, the Shanghai Theater Academy held the course commencement seminar of “Introduction to Xi Jinping’s Thought of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era” & the seminar on ideological and political theory courses which was attended by teachers and students. Leaders of the Shanghai Theatre Academy Xie Wei, Hu Min, Zhou Yin’e, teachers of ideological and political theory courses and 20 student representatives attended the seminar. The meeting focused on the strengths and weaknesses of the teaching of ideological and political theory courses in our university and the characteristics and interests of today’s art students. The participating students spoke enthusiastically and fully demonstrated their own characteristics and thoughts. All the participating teachers said that they felt closer to the young students. At the end of the meeting, Xie Wei, Party Secretary of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, made a concluding speech.
