On the morning of 23 October, the Party general branch of retired personnel of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA), in accordance with the deployment of the Party committee of STA and the Party general branch's plan for the "four histories" study and education, organized and held a study session for retired personnel. Xie Wei, Party Secretary of STA, was invited to give a Party lesson for retired Party members, and to give a briefing on the formulation of the 14th Five Year Plan of STA that is of great concern to the retired personnel. Nearly 70 retired personnel, including retired personnel with special honors, retired leaders of STA, retired professors and other retired Party members, attended the meeting.
On behalf of the Party committee of STA, Party Secretary Xie Wei first expressed his heartfelt thanks to the retired leaders, professors and Party members for their help, support and concern for the development of STA. He also wished everyone good health and eternal youth on the eve of the Double Ninth Festival. Then, he mainly provided a detailed introduction on the situation of the 14th Five Year Plan that is being formulated by the school, as well as the thoughts and ideas on the future development of the school.
Finally, Party Secretary Xie advised that the 14th Five Year Plan of the school is still under revision, and the opinions will be sought actively from all parties concerned. He also expressed the sincere welcome for the retired personnel to put forward their opinions and suggestions on the Five Year Plan, and contribute their wisdom to help the school to do an even better job in the future.
After the briefing, Party Secretary Xie had a discussion with the retired leaders and listened to their opinions and suggestions on the 14th Five Year Plan of the school.
According to its own plan for the "four histories" study and education, the Party general branch of retired personnel carried out the Party Day theme activity after the study session, and organized the retired personnel to go to the Bibliotheca Zi-Ka-Wei of the Shanghai Library for a study tour.
