On the morning of 23 October, part of the teachers and students of the College of Dance of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) watched the live broadcast of the “Meeting in Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteers Army's Fight Abroad to Resist US Aggression and Aid DPRK”.
General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the meeting aroused enthusiastic response from the teachers and students. They all expressed that the war 70 years ago was a just war, a war to defend peace and resist aggression. The Chinese People's Volunteers Army, together with the people and army of DPRK, risked their lives and fight with sublime heroism. They won the great victory of this war and made great contributions to world peace and cause of human progress. This has been a magnificent epic that evokes praises and tears. We should always remember the great sacrifice made by the elder generation, and continue to strengthen the study of the "four histories" including the war of resisting US aggression and aiding DPRK. We should study deeply and understand thoroughly, keep the mission firmly in mind, cherish peace, make unremitting endeavors, and contribute to the early realization of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
