On the morning of 23 October 2020, the teachers of the Theatrical Literature Department of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) watched the “Meeting in Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteers Army’s Fight Abroad to Resist US Aggression and Aid DPRK", and earnestly studied the speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping at the meeting. The teachers expressed that it is of great significance for our country to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the fight abroad against US aggression and aiding DPRK in the face of unprecedented changes in the past century and the ever-changing international situation. The speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping has greatly boosted the confidence of the people of the whole nation. The Chinese nation will never surrender to pressure, and the Chinese people will never be defeated. We have the confidence and ability to solve all problems and achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation together. The teachers also expressed that they will use this determination to meet the difficulties in their study and work and in teaching and educating students, so as to cultivate outstanding literary and artistic talents with excellence in both moral integrity and artistic skills for the motherland.
