Hou Yong

Hou Yong, male, first-class photographer. Director of the Film Department of the Academy of Film and Television, a national first-class cinematographer, adjunct professor at the Beijing Film Academy, a member of the Chinese Film Directors Association, a member of the Chinese Film Directors Association, a member of the Chinese Television Directors Committee, a vice president of the Chinese Film and Television Photographers Association, a member of Chinese PhotographyArt Association. He used to be a member of Shenzhen Federation of Literary and Art and honorary chairman of Shenzhen Film and Television Association. He was once a representative of Excellence in Both Professional Skills and Moral Integrity by the Chinese Federation of Literary and Art.

 

He has engaged in professional film and television photography, screenwriting and director creation for many years.His works have won many international and domestic awards. He has won the Chinese Film Golden Rooster Award for best photography four times for his photographic creations for the films Sun Yat-sen, Late Bell, The Opium War and My Father and Mother.

His works as film directors include Heaven Bleeding, Jasmine Blossoms and One Man Olympics. Among them, Jasmine Blossoms won the 7th Shanghai International Film Festival Jury Awards and the Media Awards-the Best Feature Film, the Outstanding Feature Film Award of the 10th China Film Huabiao Awards, the Best Actress Award of the 24th China Film Golden Rooster Awards and the Visitor Award at the 5th Korea Gwangju International Film Festival. One Person Olympic was nominated for the Outstanding Feature Film Award at the 13th China Film Huabiao Awards.

He directed the following TV series: Looking for Salary, Crossing Guandong (Part 2), A World Without Thieves and Angry Photographer, etc. Among them, Let's Get Dare won the Best Feature TV Series Award and Best Photography Award at the 2nd Seoul International TV Festival.
