According to the unified deployment of the Communist Party of China Shanghai Theatre Academy Committee (CPC STA Committee), the inspection team of the CPC STA Committee has recently entered the Department of Stage Design and the College of Creative Studies to officially start the 2nd round of inspection during the term of the current CPC STA Committee.
On 28 and 29 September, the two inspected units respectively held mobilization meetings for the inspection. Zhou Yin’e, Deputy Secretary of the CPC STA Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Leader of the 2nd Round of Inspection Team, delivered the mobilization speech, and members of the party and administrative leadership teams as well as all teachers and staff of the two inspected units attended the mobilization meetings.
After the mobilization meetings, the inspection team organized the participants to carry out evaluation and related questionnaire survey on the leadership teams of the two inspected units and its members. And, the heads of the two basic-level party organizations made special reports to the inspection team on the main work in the past three years.
According to the plan for the 2nd round of inspection, the inspection team will carry out the inspection for nearly three weeks in the inspected units. The inspection team will focus on such aspects as the party's political construction, ideological construction, organizational construction, work style construction and discipline construction, the comprehensive and strict governance of the party, and the strengthened implementation of the rectification recommendations from the inspection by the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, and carry out the inspection on the situation in terms of the role played by the basic-level party organizations in moral education, academic education and teaching, construction of curriculum-based ideological and political courses and construction of faculty team, as well as on the situation in terms of implementing the requirements of comprehensive and strict governance of the party and implementing the important decisions and work deployment of the CPC STA Committee.
The CPC STA Committee attaches great importance to the inspection work. After the completion of the first round of inspection in last semester, the CPC STA Committee listened to the work report of the inspection team. Xie Wei, Secretary of the CPC STA Committee, gave full recognition to the work of the first round of inspection, and made an important deployment for the subsequent implementation of the rectification recommendations from the inspection and further improvement of the quality and effectiveness of inspection work. As early as in the beginning of this semester, the Inspection Leading Group of STA listened to and reviewed the rectification plans of the inspected units in the 1st round of inspection, and studied and approved the work plan for the 2nd round of inspection.
