HuZuo, male, professor, master supervisor, currently secretary anddeputy director of Stage Art Department of Shanghai Theatre Academy.He is the visiting scholar of California State University, evaluationexpert of the Degree Center of the Ministry of Education, judge ofthe National Art Fund, vice president of Shanghai Stage ArtAssociation.

Hehas engaged in the creation and teaching of stage art design for along time and has led the design of more than 200 works at home andabroad, covering drama, opera, musical, dance drama, Peking Opera,Kunqu opera and other local operas and dozens of types of drama.

Hehas won the 14^th Wenhua Stage Art Award of Chinese Cultureand Art government Award; The 14^th and 16^thWenhua Award; Stage Art Award of the 8^th Golden Lion Awardof Chinese Drama. His designs have won the Five Ones Project Award ofthe Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee four times, andhave been selected as one of the top ten national Stage Art Workstwice. He has won the Outstanding Drama Award of the Chinese DramaFestival for five times, and other ational awards such as the Awardof the Chinese Opera Society, the Gold Award of the Chinese PekingOpera Art Festival, and the Gold Award of the Chinese Shaoxing OperaArt Festival.
