Biography
ShaoqingFang (David Fang) is a music composer, orchestrator, music producer,and University lecturer. He has been involved in the internationalmusic publishing business and had composed original music for film,TV, video games, musicals, live performances, and complete balletsthat performed in large major theatres.
Duringhis studies in the United States, Shaoqing Fang first studied musicwith New York City musician and educator Thomas Toriello, who taughttheory and music production in a professional studio setup. Whilestudying Computer Information Systems at the City University of NewYork, he continued to study music production and sound design at theSan Francisco Academy of Arts University with award--winning composerJason Martineau and Skywalker Sound Designer Steve Romanko. ShaoqingFang also worked at Cherry Lane Music Publishing Company, now ownedby BMG, and was the sound designer/music composer for Invision-Games(currently now Holo-cafe), a video game developer based in Germany.
