Leaders of STA visit veteran comrades who participated in revolutionary work during anti-Japanese war

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people's anti-Japanese war and the worldwide anti-fascist war. On 2 September, according to the relevant spirit of the CPC Central Committee, Hu Min, deputy party secretary of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA), and Zhou Yin’e, deputy party secretary of STA and secretary of the discipline inspection commission, respectively visited six retired veteran comrades of STA who participated in the revolutionary work during the anti-Japanese war.

Hu Min visited retired veteran comrades Zhang Zhenmin, Lu Wenzhi and Chen Da. On behalf of the party committee of STA, Hu Min paid high respects to them and wished them good health. At the homes of retired veteran comrades Feng Jian and Wu Yaozhong, Zhou Yin’e extended cordial greetings to them. Due to the constraints of hospital visit conditions, Zhou Yin’e also sent her best wishes to retired veteran comrade Xing Jian through video.

On 31 August, Kang Lu, deputy secretary of the general party branch of STA’s affiliated dance school, also visited Chen Ming, a retired veteran of the dance school who participated in the revolutionary work during the anti-Japanese war, and expressed his gratitude and best wishes on behalf of the school.

The veteran comrades said that they would like to thank the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core for caring the veteran of the anti-Japanese war, and thank the party committee of STA for its long-standing concern, and wish STA an even brighter future.
