On 1 September, the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) held the middle management meeting of the fall semester of 2020 academic year in the Changlin Road Campus.
After undergoing the "special semester" in the spring of 2020, with the continuous improvement of COVID-19 prevention and control situation in China, the fall semester will be fully opened very soon. In the fall semester of 2020 academic year, while earnestly carrying out the normalization of COVID-19 prevention and control, STA is also faced with a series of important tasks, such as completing the formulation of its planning for the "14th Five Year Plan" period and receiving the fifth round of discipline evaluation etc. It was against this background that this middle management meeting was held.
At the meeting, Hu Min, deputy party secretary of STA, delivered the current situation and tasks in the ideological field in Shanghai and set forth the arrangements for the 300 day action plan in anticipation of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China; Zhou Yin’e, deputy party secretary of STA and secretary of the discipline Inspection commission, provided a briefing on STA’s work related to all-out strict governance of the party; Zhang Weiling, deputy party secretary and vice president of STA, set forth the arrangements for the opening of the fall semester of 2020 academic year; and Zhang Jiachun, chief accountant of STA, provided a briefing on internal control, audit and other related work of STA.
Huang Changyong, deputy party secretary and president of STA, conveyed the spirit of the 2020 Autumn Meeting of Party and Administrative Leaders of Higher Education Institutions in Shanghai, and emphasized especially on such issues as STA’s participation in the fifth round of national discipline evaluation, setting up the school scale scientifically according to the needs of the situation, and making good use of the talent policies of Shanghai Municipality and the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.
Xie Wei, party secretary of STA, made a speech on the basic ideas of STA’s planning for the “14th Five Year Plan” period.
This middle management meeting has sounded the bugle and the starting gun on the arrival of the new semester, and has made the preparation ready for a new start.
