On 18 June 18, the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) held the 8th Faculty Representatives Congress of STA and the 3rd Session of the 12th Trade Union Representatives Congress of STA. The meeting was held under the situation where COVID-19 prevention and control had become a normal state. The formal representatives and non-voting representatives participated in the meeting in an online and offline combined way. The opening ceremony of the meeting was presided over by Zhang Weiling, Deputy Secretary and Vice President of STA and Chairman of the STA Trade Union.
Huang Changyong, Deputy Party Secretary and President of STA, made the “STA Administrative Work Report 2019” to the meeting. Zhang Jiachun, Chief Accountant of STA, made the “Shanghai Theatre Academy Financial Report on Final Account 2019 and Budget Plan 2020”. Wang Su, the full-time Vice Chairperson of the STA Trade Union, made the “Shanghai Theatre Academy Trade Union Work Report 2019”.
After the opening ceremony, the representatives were divided into nine groups through the online conference rooms to discuss the “STA Administrative Work Report 2019”, the “Shanghai Theatre Academy Trade Union Work Report 2019” and the “Second Tier Faculty Representatives Congress System of Shanghai Theatre Academy” etc, and put forward suggestions on the 14th Five Year Plan of the university.
After the group discussion, the meeting continued and was chaired by Wang Su. The meeting adopted by vote the “STA Administrative Work Report 2019”, the “Shanghai Theatre Academy Trade Union Work Report 2019” and the “Second Tier Faculty Representatives Congress System of Shanghai Theatre Academy”. Lu Ang, the part-time Vice Chairman of the STA Trade Union, read out the resolution of the meeting.
Finally, Xie Wei, Party Secretary of STA, made the concluding speech.
