In order to fully implement the deployment of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee on the study and education of the history of CPC, history of new China, history of reform and opening-up, and history of socialist development (i.e. "four histories"), fully execute the implementation plan of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) on the study and education of "four histories", and better organize and carry out "four histories" study activities among students and basic-level party organizations, the STA College of Marxism recently established the "four histories" lecture team, and held the mobilization meeting and the first collective lesson preparation meeting at the same time.
The "four histories" lecture team of the STA College of Marxism is composed of teachers of Ideological and political courses. In the first collective lesson preparation meeting that followed, the members of the lecture team carried out in-depth study and discussion focusing on the themes of "four histories" study and education, and decided the topics of the lectures which include “Socialism from Utopia to Science”, “Theory and Practice of Socialism”, “The United Front and Sino-US Relations”, “Long March and New Long March”, “History of Literary and Art of CPC during Anti-Japanese War”, “Red Gene of Shanghai”, “May 4th Constitution and Democratic National Construction”, “Exploration of Socialist Industrialization”, “History of Hard Work”, “About Serving the People”, “Reform and Opening-up and Shanghai’s Development”, “Reform and Opening-up and Cultural Development”, and “Reform and Opening-up and Enterprise Development” etc. The tasks for each member of the lecture team were clearly defined at the same time.
