The Party and administrative leading group of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) College of Dance has carefully planned and launched the “Lecture Series of STA College of Dance Faculty and Staff Online Theoretical Study Month 2020” during the COVID-19 pandemic, offering lectures on selected topics such as teaching, research, discipline construction, professional title evaluation and appointment, ideological and theoretical study etc in support of the career development of all teachers and staff members. The lectures were chaired by Chen Jianian, Dean of STA College of Dance, Zhang Lin, Party Secretary of STA College of Dance, and Zhou Bei, Vice Dean of STA College of Dance.

Chen Jianian, Dean of STA College of Dance, said that this lecture series of the online theoretical study month for faculty and staff of the STA College of Dance is commendable in terms of its height, depth and breadth, and has enabled teachers and staff members to have all-round study and improvement in professional and technical abilities, personal career development planning, ideology and other aspects. The STA College of Dance will also continue to build a broader learning platform and provide more learning opportunities, effectively improve the comprehensive quality of teachers and staff members, promote the professional development of teachers and staff members, and enhance the steady progression of education, teaching and daily work of the STA College of Dance.
