In order to thoroughly implement the requirements of the Party Committee of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) on the study and education of the "four histories", on the afternoon of 5 June, the No.4 PartyBranch of Functional Offices and the General Party Branch of Students came to the Shanghai History Museum (Shanghai Revolutionary History Museum) to carry out the Party Day activities on the theme of "four histories" study and education, looking back on each period of gestation, development and growth of the red city of Shanghai in the long river of history. The rich collection at the Shanghai History Museum (Shanghai Revolutionary History Museum) as an important historical and cultural venue shows people Shanghai's heavy historical sediment and revolutionary spirit of pioneering at all times.
The party members said that through this vivid historical and cultural education, they have gained a more systematic and comprehensive understanding of Shanghai's long cultural development and further enhanced their cultural self-confidence; On the other hand, as the birthplace of the Workers'Movement and the New Culture Movement in China and the birthplace of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Shanghai has written a significant chapter in the history of the Chinese revolution. To study "history", one must know "history" first. These silent teaching materials in the museum, which incorporate the red elements of the history of CPC, the history of revolution, and part of the history of new China, gave everyone a profound Party lesson on history, thereby making a good start for the party branches to continue to carry out in-depth education and study of the "four histories."
To study the "four histories" is not only to understand the knowledge of history, but also to understand the laws of historical and social development, to learn from the Party's wisdom and experience in the history of revolution, construction and reform, and to strengthen our ideals, beliefs and historical responsibilities. We should change according to the situation, advance with the times, and be creative according to the trend, and constantly innovate ways and methods and create new prospects. The No.4 Party Branch of Functional Officewill also continue to focus on the study objectives, give full play to its own advantages, effectively promote the "four histories"education and enhance the effectiveness of study.
