The review meeting of "hanghai Municipal-level Special Chronicles - Annals of Shanghai Theatre Academy" was held in the New Space Theatre of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) on 20 May. Leaders of STA, leaders of the Shanghai Local Chronicles Office and members of the expert group of the review meeting attended the appraisal meeting.
According to the arrangement for the second round of unified revision of chronicles set forth by the State Council and the requirements of the Shanghai Local Chronicles Compilation Committee, STA is included in the list of Shanghai Municipal-level Special Chronicles. STA started this project in 2010, and formally issued a document in 2012 to set up the STA Annals Compilation Committee to lead the STA annals compilation work. At the same time, STA set up the STA Annals Compilation Editorial Department and the STA Annals Compilation Office. After nearly ten years of unremitting efforts, the review draft of "Annals of Shanghai Theatre Academy (1945-2010)" with 450,000 words has been primarily completed.
At the review meeting, the expert group gave full recognition to the review draft of STA annals, and also put forward pertinent opinions and suggestions for modification and improvement in the next stage.
STA will fully absorb the experts’ opinions in the careful revision of the "Annals of Shanghai Theatre Academy (1945-2010)", and strive to make the final draft more substantial and standardized.
