On 8 April, the Functional Departments No.1 Party Branch received a letter of thanks and a banner from Shanghai Shangfang Property Co Ltd (i.e. one of the property management companies contracted by our school). During the epidemic period, the staff of the property management companies and security companies providing services to our school have always been working on the frontline, doing a great job in cleaning, disinfection, isolation, prevention and control, security and other basic work to prevent and control the epidemic and maintain the campus safety. On 16 February, Functional Departments No.1 Party Branch called on everyone in the name of the party branch to donate money for those working in the frontline of epidemic prevention in each STA campus, and the party members donated more than RMB6000 within a half day. The party branch purchased articles of daily use such as microwave ovens and instant noodles right away and donated them to the frontline staff of the Shangfang Property Management Company in support of their protection work.
At the beginning of March, party members of the branch responded to the call of the CPC Central Committee and once again donated money for epidemic prevention and control under the organization of the branch committee. Although the donations were not in large amount, the contributions once and again were enough to express the sincere hearts and deep feelings of all party members of the branch who cared about those fighting against the epidemic on the frontline and wanted to do their best for winning the battle against the epidemic.
On 27 March, the Functional Departments No.1 Party Branch held a party day activity with the theme of putting the original aspiration to action and holding the mission on shoulders. During the Party Day thematic activity, the party members also read out the party branch committee’s donation proposal for all the party members, displayed the songs and articles created by the party members of the branch during the epidemic, and read the articles written by the secretary of the party branch secretary for female comrades of the branch on the occasion of the International Women's Day. The event ended successfully with the singing of “The Internationale”.
