STA College of Film and Television win top three prizes in 7th "Golden Microphone of the Future" competition

The university group of the 7th Golden Microphone of the Future competition hosted by Jiangsu Radio and Television Station cancelled the live competition because of the COVID-19 epidemic situation and changed the selection mode to online competition. Nearly 1,000 students from universities across China participated in the online competition which was run via the Tiktok and WeChat platforms for nearly two months. The students of broadcasting and hosting major from the College of Film and Television of Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) won a number of prizes.

  

Among them, Cheng Shaobo (Class of 2018), Pang Zheng (Class of 2018) and Lin Jiasheng (Class of 2018) won the first prize; Yang Luman (Class of 2017) and Zhang Tianze (Class of 2019) won the second prize; Wu Fanmeng (Class of 2017) won the third prize.

In the two-month competition, the students of STA, with their excellent comprehensive strength and creative ideas for short videos, successfully attracted the attention of the audience and won the applause of the public. The three minute video display fully reflected the solid ability and comprehensive makings of the STA students in radio and TV hosting, and showed the competitive advantages of STA. All these were inseparable from the careful guidance and earnest instruction of all teachers.

Always be ready is the consistent style of STAers. Although the competition was affected by the COVID-19 epidemic situation, STAers will not stop moving forward. The winter is gone, may we embrace the warm spring and beautiful flowers together!
