Since the implementation of the epidemic prevention and control work, the CPC Committee of Shanghai Theater Academy (STA) has resolutely implemented the spirit of the important speech and instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping and firmly carried out the epidemic prevention and control work under the principle of “working with both hands and working strongly on both hands”. We have paid close attention to two things, i.e. early being the first and solid being the second, with which we will continue to keep our feet fast and steady, race against time, anticipate early, plan early and deploy early. In fighting against the disease, we have paid close attention to being stricter, more solid and more detailed, and have taken a series of hard core measures and achieved positive results.
First, we pay close attention to doing things early. We firmly shoulder the political responsibility, and anticipate, plan and deploy early.
Second, we have paid close attention to doing things solidly, taken the safety development of teachers and students as our priority, and have paid close attention to being stricter, more solid and more detailed. In line with the principle of being responsible for the lives and safety of teachers and students, we will be strict on guard and defend to the last, and will leave no blind corner. Second, in line with the principle of no suspension of classes and no suspension of learning, we have created necessary conditions and made adequate preparations. We have established a six-level teaching adjustment working system which includes the leading group, teaching steering committee, functional offices, colleges and departments, teaching research offices, and all teachers and staff members. The teaching steering committee has strengthened the pre-guidance and check. The academic affairs office, together with the graduate school and other departments, has formulated four teaching plans for different groups of students. The junior-level party organizations have made full play of their organizational advantages and mobilized each and every teacher. The teaching research office, together with the teachers, has carefully reviewed the adjustment plan of each course. The functional departments have provided logistics and support to accelerate the implementation of the adjustment, refinement, connection and finalization of the teaching plans, and mobilize all teachers and staff members to make full preparation for the hard battle of online commencement of new semester. At the same time, STA has formulated nine detailed work plans and operation plans covering the opening of new semester, enrollment, logistic support etc, and has refined and defined the work arrangements for the week prior to the opening of new semester and assigned them to the specifically appointed responsible persons for implementation, and made all-round preparations for the opening of new semester.
STA has always put the life safety and physical and mental health of teachers and students in the first place, and taken the epidemic prevention and control as its most important work at present. With intensive deployment, scientific prevention and control, interaction at all levels and joint prevention and control, all departments and units of STA will continue to strictly implement the requirements of its epidemic prevention and control work. STA as a whole has the responsibility for safeguarding its own community and will take up and fulfill this responsibility. We will resolutely put STA’s epidemic prevention and control measures into action, and spare no efforts to win the on-campus blocking battle of epidemic prevention and control.
