The 6th president’s working meeting of the 9th China Institute of Stage Design is held in Beijing at which Professor Pan Jianhua of Shanghai Theatre Academy is elected vice president

On 26bOctober, the 6^th president’s working meeting of the 9th China Institute of Stage Design (CISD) was held in Beijing. President Cao Lin, Vice President and Secretary-General Zhang Xu, Vice Presidents Zhou Zhengping, Ji Qiao, Zhang Dinghao, Liu Wenhao, Yi Tianfu and Liu Kedong, Executive Deputy Secretary-General and Director of the General Office Sun Haifeng, Deputy Director of the General Office Du Shurui, and Director of the Branding Department Lang Yue, attended the meeting.The main agenda of this meeting was to carry out the theme education activity of never forget the original aspiration and keep the mission firmly in mind, discuss and supplement the members of the leading group, review CISD’s audit work for the first half of the year, review the professional activities of various committees, discuss the preparations for the 4^th China Stage Design Exhibition, and discuss the matters concerning the WSD 2025 World Theatre Design Exhibition. The participating leaders conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the theme education activities, operation of CISD, professional activities, preparations for the 4^th China Stage Design Exhibition, etc.At the meeting, in order to unite the colleagues across the country for coordinated development and comprehensively promote the progress of the work of CISD, and taking into consideration of the current composition of the leadership team of CISD, the participating leaders reviewed and discussed in detail the matters of the number of and candidates for additional vice presidents and the candidates for reserve managers. On the basis of widely soliciting opinions from all parties concerned, it was unanimously agreed to add Professor Pan Jianhua of the Shanghai Theatre  Academy as a Vice President of CISD.
