On 5 June 2019, nearly 60 Party members from seven branches of the Retired Personnel General Party Branch of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) went to the Shanghai Exhibition Center to visit the “Glory of the City” – Thematic Exhibition in Celebration of the 70th Anniversary of Shanghai’s Liberation. Through historical pictures, videos and comparative data reflecting the achievements of reform in the city, the exhibition focuses on the glorious course of 70 years since Shanghai's liberation.
The visit reviewed the eventful years that Shanghai has gone through and aroused the determination of retired personnel to continue to do their best and make contributions to the Party and the country. The visit not only enabled retired Party members to revisit the years of burning passion, but also enabled them to receive a vivid education on the theme of “never forgetting the original inspiration and keeping the mission firmly in mind”. The visit to the “Glory of the City” exhibition enabled all participants to look at the school from the country and think about the challenges from the achievements, and many participants put forward very good suggestions for promoting the work of the school.
After the visit, retired Party members returned to the Foxi Building at the Huashan Road Campus of STA, and the seven branches held the regular Party branch meeting at the same time.
