On the morning of 24 April, the Party Committee of Shanghai Theatre Academy held a study meeting of the Party Committee Central Group (expanded) in the 2nd floor conference room on the of the Foxi Building to study the spirit of the Shanghai Education Congress and to be aligned to China Educational Modernization 2035 and Shanghai's Implementation Plan for Accelerating Educational Modernization Towards 2020. Members of the Central Group of the Party Committee of STA, members of the Party Committee of STA and representatives of department heads participated in the study. The study meeting was chaired by Xie Wei, Party Secretary of STA.
At the meeting, Professor Zhang Jue, Vice President of the Shanghai Academy of Educational Science (SAES), made a special presentation entitled Research on the Modernization of Education in Shanghai and Its Evaluation. Vice-President Zhang Jue systematically elaborated the research work and characteristics of Education Modernization 2035, the background of drafting the research of educational modernization, the strategic plans of Shanghai’s Education Modernization 2035 and the monitoring and evaluations system of Shanghai’s educational modernization. The presentation was rich in content and authoritative in system, and has a strong practical guiding significance for the educational and teaching reform at STA.
After the presentation, Huang Changyong, Deputy Party Secretary and President of STA, Yang Yang and Liu Qing, Vice Presidents of STA and Wu Aili, Director of the Development Planning Division of STA, made speeches successively, and shared their reflection after the study and work plan in light of their own work. Party Secretary Xie Wei made the concluding speech.
