The Shanghai Education Conference was held on March 22. Li Qiang, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, Chen Baosheng, Minister for Education, Ying Yong, Deputy Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Mayor of Shanghai, and Yin Hong, Deputy Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, delivered important speeches at the meeting.
At noon on 26 March, the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) held a special meeting at the Duanjun Theater to convey and implement the spirit of the Shanghai Education Conference, to study and implement the spirit of the National Education Conference and the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the Ideological and Political Teachers' Symposium. The meeting was presided over by Lou Wei, Party Secretary of STA. Huang Changyong, Deputy Party Secretary and President of STA, conveyed the spirit of the Shanghai Education Conference. Party and administrative leaders of STA, all members of the middle management, party branch secretaries and members and teachers' representatives attended the meeting.
Deputy Party Secretary and President Huang Changyong first conveyed the spirit of the speech given by Li Qiang, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee. The study meeting also conveyed the spirit of the speech given by Chen Baosheng, Minister for Education. Party Secretary Lou, on behalf of the CPC Committee of STA, put forward specific requirements for studying and implementing the spirit of the conference.
After the session of conveying the spirit of the Shanghai Education Conference, party of the middle management team, party branch secretaries, front-line teachers and student counselors shared their thoughts and reflections on the spirit of the Shanghai Education Conference and the implementation of the spirit of the important speech made by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the Symposium of Teachers of Ideological and Political Courses in Schools.
