On 9 May 2018, as part of the STA Performance Season of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA), the last screening exchange event of the BA and MA 2014 Outstanding Graduation Works Screening of STA’s College of Film and Television was successfully held at the Duanjun. That concluded the four days of screening. Chairman of STA Mr Lou Wei, Vice Chairman and President of STA Mr Huang Changyong, Vice Chairman of STA Ms Hu Min and other STA leaders attended the screening.

President of STA Mr Huang Changyong gave full recognition to the students after the screening. On behalf of STA, he thanked the teachers, parents and friends who had provided the help and guidance for the students' creation. Mr Wang Xingdong, Vice Chairman of the China Film Association and a National Grade 1 playwright, also delivered a passionate speech. He said that he can see the hope of Chinese movies from the students of STA.

Ms Zhao Yun, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Film Association, Mr Yu Zhiping, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Television Association, Mr Yang Lele, famous producer, Mr Tom Barker, Deputy Consul General of the New Zealand Consulate General in Shanghai, Mr Nadav Zysblat, Deputy Consul General of the Israeli Consulate General in Shanghai, Ms Adele Lobasso, Cultural Consul of the Italian Consulate General in Shanghai, Mr Wang Xingjun, famous Chinese director, Ms Xia Yingying, Deputy General Manager of the Star Chinese International Media Co Ltd., Mr Li Yuan, famous film editor, and other industry insiders also attended the screening together and fully recognized the level of sophistication that the students have achieved. The audience at the screening venue responded enthusiastically, and some industry insiders even made the contact on the spot to seek cooperation.

The screening events lasted for four days, which were the screening of graduation works of BA Screenwriting and Directing 2014, the screening of graduation works of BA Production 2014, the screening of graduation works of MA 2014 and the screening of selected outstanding works of BA and MA 2014 respectively. Among them, "The Beautiful World in My Heart" by Mr Liu Ziyang of BA Screening and Directing 2014 won the Best Director Award of the JCFG Micro Movie Contest, with other constants coming from the Beijing Film Academy, the Central Academy of Drama, the Communication University of China and other domestic film and television institutions as well as overseas constants.

The leaders and teachers of STA’s College of Film and Television attended all screening events and gave positive recognition and pertinent suggestions to the students.
