The graduation exhibition of BA Digital Media 2014 of the College of Creative Studies of the Shanghai Theater Academy (STA) was formally opened on 3 May at STA’s Duanjun Theatre and will run until 10 May. The theme of the exhibition is "See the Future". The 17 graduating students put on display the works that they have invested a large amount of time to carefully prepare, each of which is unique. The contents of the exhibition include virtual reality, interactive imaging devices, holographic projection, 3D animation, micro film, new media drama and so on. This exhibition of graduation works is not only a display of the students’ works but, more importantly, also a display of the rewarding results that the students of BA Digital Media 2014 have gained from the four years of study life at the university and an expression of the students' thinking about life and beauty as well as their gratitude to the teachers and the school.
The students of BA Digital Media 2014 have attached great importance to the graduation exhibition. They started preparing for the graduation design as early as September last year, then continued to make modification and improvement including the efforts to fix the fine details even at the last moment before the opening of the exhibition, with the aspiration to present a perfect piece of work. In fact, this exhibition also provides an excellent opportunity for teachers and students of other specializations to understand the digital media major, thus playing an important role in fostering interdisciplinary academic communication. At the same time, the audience's feedback on the works will also be an inspiration for the students of BA Digital Media 2014 to make persistent efforts and strive for the new height.
