On the morning of 18 January 2018, the Shanghai Theatre Academy held the 2018 Student Admissions Supervision Working Meeting in the ground floor conference room of the Foxi Building. Ms Hu Min, Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Theatre Academy and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee, Mr Qian Pingan, Deputy Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee, participated in the meeting together with the members of the 2018 Student Recruitment Surveillance Taskforce, party branch secretaries and discipline inspectors of all colleges and departments. The meeting was chaired by Vice Chairman Ms Hu Min.
At the meeting, Mr Liu Zhixin, Director of the Student Admissions Office, provided a report on the enrollment quota, examination committee and other matters to be noticed for the 2018 student admissions, and also provided a report on the plan and progress of the student admissions work. Mr Liu Chunyou, Party Branch Secretary of the College of Chinese Opera, reported the experience of student admissions supervision. Mr Qian Pingan, Deputy Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee, expressed that the Shanghai Theatre Academy had been attaching great importance to the student admissions work and that the admissions reform carried out in the past three consecutive years had been very effective. He made a specific division of responsibilities for the admissions inspectors, and stressed that all admissions inspectors and college and department secretaries should have clear-cut responsibilities and should earnestly conduct the admissions supervision. Vice Chairman Ms Hu Min made the concluding speech and set forth detailed requirements for the work of student admissions supervision.
