From 9 to 14 December 2017, the graduation production "A View from the Bridge" and the practice production "The Paint is Wet" of the College of Further Education of the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) were staged successfully on campus. Lou Wei, Chairman of STA, attended the performances and went to the backstage where he met cordially with the students participating in the performances, accompanied by Ma Linhong, Executive Deputy Dean of the College of Further Education, and Yin Yonghua, Party Branch Secretary of the College of Further Education.
During the performances of the two productions "A View from the Bridge" and "The Paint is Wet", all seats in the theatre were occupied by the highly enthusiastic teachers and students, who responded with warm applause and high praise. Of the two productions, "A View from the Bridge" is one of the representative works of American playwright Arthur Miller, while "The Paint is Wet" is a work of French playwright René Fauchois.
The successful performance of these two productions by the College of Further Education was the result of the hard work and painstaking efforts of the teachers and students of the College of Further Education. It is hoped that the teachers and students of the College of Further Education will make persistent efforts to create more and even better works.
