In order to commend the high-achieving students, set examples for the others, give further play to the leading role of model students and promote the continuous development of further education at the tertiary level, the 2017 Shanghai Tertiary Institutions of Further Education Outstanding Students Commendation Meeting was held in the Auditorium on the ground floor of the Conference Centre of the Shanghai Normal University on the afternoon of 8 December 2017. Suolangdeji, a student of the Directing Class 2015 (junior college-university advancement program) of Shanghai Theatre Academy’s College of Further Education, won the title of "Top 10 Model Students" of tertiary institutions of further education in Shanghai.
During her time at the school, Suolangdeji studied hard and worked hard in the creation of dramatic works. The small play “Ga Ma” written, directed and performed by her and her classmate, Feng Junjiao won the Best Drama Award and Best Individual Performance Award at the 4th Wuzhen Theatre Festival. In his comments about this play Shi Hang, a famous playwright, said that “it is simple and all-rounded, it is sincere and compassionate, and it reminds us that being quiet is also a way to awake and enlighten.”
