To enhance the understanding of the national conditions by the compatriots in Macau, with the coordination of the CPPCC National Committee, the Macau Huizhi Society, which is composed of young entrepreneurs, young professionals and young leaders and cadres of social groups from all walks of life in Macau, has launched the “Study and Practice Program in Shanghai for Youth Talent of Macau”, under which the visit to the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) is one of the events in the Macau Huizhi Society’s itinerary in Shanghai.

On the afternoon of 15 November 2017, Professor Wu Honglin and Associate Professor Wang Su of STA provided a coaching session on presentation skills to the visitors from Macau. Associated Professor Wang Su provided a lively voice performance to the members of the Huizhi Society, and her reading of the short poem “After School” brought tears to the eyes. The members of the Macau Zhihui Society were deeply impressed by the charm of voice and form as reflected in the poetry reading. After that, the delegation members asked questions enthusiastically, and the applause continued for a long time. Professor Wu Honglin led the delegation members to do a reading practice. As good as a “magician”, he used two small wood sticks as the tool to guide the delegation members to feel the divergent thinking and learn to be flexible. Inspired by Professor Wang, the entire conference room was filled with a very enthusiastic atmosphere. From STA, Zhang Yunlei, Deputy Director of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Affairs Office, and Zhang Jie, Deputy Director of United Front Department, also attended the event.
