On 2 November, the monthly meeting on teaching work of the Graduate School was held in the second floor conference room of the Foxi Building. The meeting was attended by the staff of the Graduate School and relevant persons in charge and departmental secretaries from each department.
The meeting discussed the mid-term review of postgraduate theses and updated the participants on the work in relation to adding new supervisors for postgraduate students. It was clarified that the new supervisor should in principle mentor a student together with the existing supervisor in the first year and that the supervisor from outside should mentor the student in conjunction with the supervisor from within STA. The timing for the mutual selection between new students and supervisors was also announced. The meeting stressed that this year’s systematic revision of the teaching and cultivation scheme for postgraduate students of the whole university is an important part of the reform in postgraduate education and teaching and is an important starting point for the substance construction. The meeting also deployed the work of the "Wisteria Blossom-Shanghai Theatre Academy MFA Graduation Production Showcase".
