This is the third picture photography exhibition held by the Film and Television College. The first two exhibitions were attended by the production class and playwriting and directing class of each corresponding year. It has been the requirement that all students of these classes must join without any exception. The exhibition this year has selected 63 exhibits on the basis of merit from all kinds of homework of a total of 120 students of the six production classes and playwriting and directing classes of Year 2014, 2015 and 2016. These exhibits include the experimental works of the students in the photography track and the creative works of the students who have started learning from scratch, thus reflecting more comprehensively the learning results of the students at the different stages of picture photography and also reflecting the breadth and depth of the students’ observation of life. This exhibition features a diverse range of styles and topics and is more mature than the previous two exhibitions in terms of the students’ photography skills. The theme of this exhibition is summed up in one word which is “love”. Only those who have a love for life and a love for their profession may transmit and spread the sincerity and thought that they have felt.

Mr Sherwood Hu fully acknowledged the experience of the picture photography course in enhancing the teaching by way of holding the photography exhibition. He hoped that students from different majors will cherish the opportunity to learn picture photography under the teaching model of “intensive learning, creative practice, combined majors, qualified talents”, make persistent efforts going forward and create outstanding works.
