On the morning of 16 October, the Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA)’s student affairs meeting for the first semester of the 2017-2018 school year was held in the first floor conference room of the Foxi Building. Deputy Party Secretary of STA Hu Min attended the meeting together with other participants including all staff of the Student Affairs Office and Youth League Committee, persons in charge of student affairs and all counselors from the various colleges and departments. The meeting was presided over by Xu Yong, Director of Student Affairs Office.
The meeting formalized the deployment and arrangement of student affairs work in 2017. The counselors of the various colleges and departments took turns to speak and report on the dynamic investigation and analysis of student situation, work progress and college/department specific work thus far in this semester. Xu Yong summarized the students ' status in the one-month period since the current semester began, and then focused on the construction of student affairs team, party building among students, campus culture and themed education, graduate employment, psychological health education and so on.
After carefully listening to the work report by the various departments, Hu Min acknowledged the results achieved by the student affairs team, and put forward further requests for the follow-up work.
Finally, the persons in charge of student affairs in the various colleges and departments put forward their suggestions on the student affairs work.
