The award conferring ceremony of the tenth "Academy Award", the seventh "College Award" and the second "Scholar Award" award ceremony of the China Higher Education Film and Television Society was held in Suzhou University on 14 October 2017. From Shanghai Theatre Academy’s film studies discipline, Professor Li Zhenlin won the first prize in the monograph category of the “Academy Award” for his works “The History of Ideological Trends of Chinese Film Acting Aesthetics (1979-2015)", Professor Zhan Xin won the special prize of the seventh “College Award” for his sound design for the film “King of Shanghai”, and Pu Ruijing, a Year 2014 student of film production major, won the second prize in the plot film category of the seventh “College Award for his work "The Cat under the Birdcage".
In addition, Professor Li Zhenlin has recently won the “Excellent Academic Paper” award of the 26th China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival for his paper “The Higher Education Section in the Transformation and Upgrading of Chinese Films”, as well as the second "Woodpecker Cup" Chinese Literary Criticism “Outstanding Works of the Year” award issued by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles (CFLAC) and China Literary Critics Association for his works “The History of Ideological Trends of Chinese Film Acting Aesthetics (1979-2015)", which is the highest award of Chinese literary criticism at the national level previously known as the CFLAC Literary Criticism Award.
